Growing up with Italian/Irish backgrounds it wasn't a question of If, but when! My wife and I both acquired our passion for cooking (and eating) at a young age in our family kitchens. With food being the centerpiece of our family gatherings, we got involved early. I rode my bicycle to Tatnall Street to work at my Aunt & Uncle's restaurant, The Barn Door. This is where I honed my food prep and grilling skills. During her teen years, my wife mastered the art of making a great sandwich at Country Maid Deli in Pike Creek.
Working in the construction trade most of my life, I've eaten off quite a few food trucks. When I retired from the Carpenter's Local 626, we decided it was time to bring our culinary experiences to you. Welcome to Angelo's Curbside Cafe...real good homemade food for lunch.
